Run Report

Run no:- 1358           Date:- 30 March 2009
Location:- The Port
Hare:- Sweetie
Scribe:- ?

This run was brought to you by the buddy system. Or lack of it. While waiting for the long tail boat to cross the river, the Bug said that there were fierce dogs along the trail and Sweetie had battle wounds on his rump from scoping out the trail the day before to prove it. Immediately hashers turned to Bimbo and asked if he would protect them with his walking stick.

The run was along pleasant well known territory – lots of concrete, lots of running along klongs and some off road trail. Weedeater had no problems breaking most of the checks. Tonto keep the group together with his grand horn blowing abilities. Snarling dogs were found along the way - Jill was ready to take safety behind a gate if the dog came attacking. Jumpstart was up to her normal shopping self on the trail, returning in with a rather large bunch of bananas.

At the end of the run, the boat did originally head back without four hashers. The Bug did ask if anyone was still out on the trail. Lurch said yes, my girlfriend is still out there, but she should be able to find her way back. After leaving the dock, we turned back and were able to pick up the stragglers via spotting Doug’s fluorescent orange shorts that glowed in the twilight.

OnOn was onsite, with food brought by Sweetie.
