Run:- 2178, 22 September 2025
Location:- Ratburana, Wat Bang Peung
Hare:- Tom Yum Gung

It was a short 15 minute taxi ride from Asoke to the ferry pier on the mighty Chao Phraya River of Kings. I got to the other side just as the pack was departing, deposited my bag in the Hash piss truck, and soon caught up with everyone. We passed by a riverside craft beer cafe called Glampers and entered onto some muddy terrain, quite good Hashing countryside so close to the city. Pussy Virus's dog Snoop was no longer snow white. The well-laid trail took us through temples and alleyways, with many klong bridges to cross. It was all a welcome change from the recent spate of urban territory that we have been running on Bangkok Mondays.

First in on trail was visitor and Phrapradaeng resident Shadow Max. At over 8kms the walkers CiS and Som took nearly 90 minutes to return, arriving back in the dark, well after the sun had set. A drinking group of curious local Thais sat at the nearby picnic table wondering what all these crazy farangs were doing. During the circle, the hare and co-hare were congratulated for a truly interesting and scenic trail. There was a new boot, a Hasher was named, and prick of the week was awarded by The Senator to The Tickler.

A pleasant stroll along the out trail got us to a classic Thai restaurant built on stilts overhanging the river where good food and drink was enjoyed. Thank you Gung for an excellent Hash trail and dinner! On on!
