Run:- 2175, 1 September 2025
Location:- Victory Monument
Hare:- Here for Beer

A hare's first time can often be a disaster. That's why it's good to match the newbie with a seasoned veteran hare, so Here for Beer and Tinker paired up to deliver us a city run from near Victory Monument (and near Nick's apartment).

There was a large turnout for this run and many drivers had difficulty finding the obscure parking lot underneath the expressway. At 5:30, the oddly dressed hare sent us on our way towards Victory Monument. We bounced several times off a large urban canal, ran through a park and hit a cleverly laid check near the midway point that brought much of the pack together.

The second half saw us running by the aforementioned park separated by a high fence mere meters from the out trail. Then through the grounds of Phayathai Palace and by an architecturally impressive Throne Hall, where many attractive young ladies in matching track suits were jogging (in the opposite direction to us). The chalk and paper led us thru Rajavithi Hospital and on to the second oasis, Santiphap Park where the hares directed us to run against the flow of many Thai joggers.

Back home in 6km (or 7km if you were checking), the piss truck had moved out of the main lot due to fears we would disturb nearby apartment dwellers. The GM called a circle and the hare was congratulated for a very good city run. What a great first effort, well done Nick. Visitors, returners and two New Boots (a young British? guy and a Danish priest) also received down downs.

Religious Advisor The Nigerian handed out divine retribution and a celebratory downtown for The Tickler and Late Coming Ball Slapper for happily enduring each other's company for 24 years. Cheers and On On!
