Having been out of town for a while, it was great to get back to the hash. Unfortunately it was made perfectly clear by several people that I would be on everyone's s#@t list if I didn't do the write up, being next week's hare. Good crowd turned up for the run, that was one helluva knee killer. Long concrete trails were forgiven in the circle, and forgotten at the on on on with all the fantastic food and beer provided. The GM organized a thumbs up or down democratic vote as to whether or not it was a decent run. I was personally intimidated by Bog Diver who looked around in back of me to see how I was voting. Not sure if the middle fingers up in the air meant good or bad run. Visitors included Colm from Ireland, Marisa from Spain, Heather from the U.S. but lives here (voting for Barack - oh yeah), Steve from Scotland and Ron "Tonto" who has been living and hashing here for months already. What's up with that? Pay up the 200 baht and be a member already!

Special 200th runner, Mike "Sugardaddy" Burgess, was called into the circle and the usual insults were hurled - you'd think he'd at least get a free run and on on on. Sarah Palin lookalike was there with two buns on her head. I believe she was the one everybody got their knickers in a twist over about being insulted by the Monday RA a few months ago, but she is still hashing so it couldn't have been that bad! Marisa got prick of the week, I believe basically for being a beautiful girl, and only had about half a downdown because we ran out of beer and several hashers poured most of her supersized downdown into their own empty cups. The On On On was productive for a change, rounding up four hashers to sponsor the upcoming AGM t-shirt. Lots of talk about how great the Indochina Hash and Mae Hong Son outstation runs are going to be - good times coming up . . . . That's about all I can remember. So thanks to the hares – it was a great night.
