Run:- 1296                     Date:- 21 January 2008.
Location:- Wat Bang Peung, over Rama 9 Bridge
Hare:- Noriega
Scribe:- ?

We arrived at the run site to find Frank busy negotiating with some guy on a motorbike. Frank's runsite restaurant decided to close that day and Frank commandeered a local guy to find a new restaurant for us. More about that later.

Debate as to where to park the beer as we were right in front of a temple gate and three shrines, but there was no beer truck anyway. Eventually, a few minutes before the run started, 4x2 turned up with the beer truck of the week, we have already seen Lem, Maarten and now Noah as stand in hash pisses. Is this going to be a new thing for members? Do a run, a writeup and a turn as hash piss?

A few people were discussing the location of the run in relation to Dunkin Donut's last Wednesday's effort as a hare. The run started with Bog staying at home base with a back injury. A nice trail, with plenty of dog shit and a lot of places that many of us have never seen. A long check that was only solved by a few on the main road was the only confusing part of a very good run.

Our GM was back this week and lead the circle with Ajarn Kee Maw standing in with his usual “on this day in history” and “deaths of the week”. The hash birthday song was sung to Frisky who is 30 this week. Prick of the week went to a new visitor from Brighton. “I've been there, issa fukin shiole” was screamed out when she anounced where she came from. The OnOnOn was at an amazing restaurant on the river. Good value at 300 baht for such a nice place.
