Run:- 1295                     Date:- 14 January 2008.
Location:- Bang Yai Y-junction
Hare:- The Bug
Scribe:- ?

Bug's run at the world famous “Y” junction in Bang Yai was well attended with many visitors.  The GM was not around so Beefeater was in charge for a change.  The trail took us down  towards the Klong in Bang Yai market and back up the other side of the road.  The front  runners were in in 40 minutes which is good for this time of year with the dark evenings.  Don  and Barbie decided that was not enough for them so they went out for a second circuit.  A short run means plenty of time for drinking before the circle.  Bog had followed up his last  week's herring feast with a plate of smoked ell that he kept hidden away in the back of Hash  Piss' Fortuner.  Ian and Alistair tried on the sunglasses that were found after last week's run in  Bog's car (as suspected) and we were left wondering if they would ever be returned to their  rightful owner.

Beefeater started the circle and the huge number of visitors were brought in and interrogated.  A trio from Cyprus were brought in for wheezing and spluttering in the back of Frank's car.  One visitor from Salt Lake City was down downed for attempting to convert the pack to  Mormonism.  Golden Shower and the Pink Panther were given a drink together – she had  referred to him as “that cute young Thai guy”.

Prick of the week went to the young Mormon.

Announcements were made for future events and the circle was hogged for a while by a visitor  from Cyprus who spent half an hour trying to promote his run with the Full Moon Hash.

Bug's umbrella is still hanging in the ceiling at the ononon venue over the road.  How many  years has it been there now?  The usual menu mix including the obligatory omlette.  Champagne was brought out by Normal for all to toast her birthday as well as Eat Me and  4x2's 1st (and last?) wedding anniversary.  Ononon 200 Baht for men, 100 for women – good  value.  Thanks to the Bug.
