Run:- 1292                     Date:- 24 December 2007.
Location:- Sukhumvit Soi 35..
Hare:- Peter "Hater Peacocks" H
Scribe:- Sugar Daddy.

Monday’s run was an A to B set by another Peter – Haycox to be exact.  It’s direction was  known as the destination was Noriega’s fine establishment at the end of that soi where the  ‘boys’ have their names on their t-shirts.  Many of their customers must have bad eyesight.

Having been delayed by some business, I made it to the B site after Dodik and the forever  young KC were relaxing and recounting their experiences.  Soon the great Lunchbox appeared.  He started to complain about something.  I guess he was forced to shortcut as he knew the  shortest way to Noriega’s once he entered Lumphini Park.  I said “Hey, it’s Christmas man.  We  don’t want to hear it.”    Others arrived, Stretch with his daughter.  Another Frenchman –  hasher from deepest Africa – visitor on a guided sex tour.  He used the hash is a new way –  leaves the wife and kids at the hotel saying he’s going on the hash.  Returns a few hours later  all sweaty and wasted saying it was a helluva run today.  This was the first of several runs he  supposedly had been on.  To his credit (I suppose his trickery on the family is laudable.) he  knew how to drink a down down.  With more guys like him the French might have tried to save  Paris!  Then again probably not.   We all mingled around – French fries, samosas, fried chicken  snacks.  Always a pleasant time………..

At some point GM Matt started the circle.  Come on guys we have got to stop ignoring him  when he calls a circle, he is the GM after all.  It’s not his fault that he’s short, does not have a  commanding voice and is easy to ignore.  Well, then again I suppose it is his fault.  The usual  down downs for the Hare – infrequent runner Peter Haycox.  Returners Dodik, KC, Elen, Non  Stop, Lecherous and maybe one or two more.  No notes on this thing.  The French visitor from  Killimonjaro ended up getting several down downs – always filling his half glass offered to the  brim.  He downed them well.  Other visitors included Stretch and his daughter, Gonthier, and  maybe a couple more I can’t recall.   RA Noriega gave a few down downs and a most pleasant  circle – no Christmas songs were sung – fortunately.  And after social drinking we headed  inside for a free On On on sponsored by the Hare.  Well done.  A most pleasant Christmas Eve.  Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night.
