Those at the Bug's run at the “Y” Junction on 12th
November will remember the Joint Masters being made to drink “on their
knees” for the complete lack of any organisation for the annual event of the
BMH3 calendar – the AGM. Had they learned their lesson? Of course not. A
small AGM crowd of 54, with none of the usual “I'm here for the free t-shirt
crowd” in attendance. Bogdiver, having taken a dive at the BH3 outstation in
the hills of Kanchanaburi was out of action so he did not manage to lay the
run.
An excellent 45 minute run with lots of detail, check
backs, loops and the classic wade through shit from which the Bogdiver got
his hash name. Some of the runners managed to avoid the wet and some ended
up with leeches.
The food tables were full of cheese, salami, mountain ham,
sausage from Kanchanaburi and vegetable dips, almost no need for food at the
ononon and the Tiger girl was kept busy all evening. The GM's last
circle made it until just before the POTW vote was taken. Then the rain
started and we were ushered into the restaurant just in time to put the POTW
on Nonstop for the pleasure of the other guests in the restaurant..
Then .... it was time for KARAOKE ... “temi ho, kantri ro”
... “ana tintoo mysen wadda wunerfoo whirl”. The GM got up after we
managed to get Jumpstart and Bruce off the M.I.C and brought up Eat Me,
Noriega, 4x2, Ajarn Kee Mao and Himself for completing over 80% of the runs
this year – Noriega hit a 100% attendance record.
The old committee were thanks, and the new brought in. The GM was sent off
with the FOYC standard hymn. Then ... it was back to Karaoke and
falling over.
