The Search for the Sacred Prick

The BMH3 has issued an urgent plea for a replacement of their most revered relic "The Prick of the Week." Although some might argue that there is no shortage of pricks on the Monday Hash, the mysterious disapperence of yet another POTW leaves the BMH3 essentially impotent until a suitable replacement can be found. Rumor has it that the birthday girl "Crash" Daly has a hidden dungeon in her pleasure palace filled with these priceless pricks that keep disappearing from the Monday hash when Crash is there.

BMH3 Run 1220 represented hashing at its best and its worst depending on one's perspective and degree of sobriety. It all started with a new twist on misdirections as drivers were instructed to set their odometers backwards so as to arrive at the run start with a lower kilometer reading than when they started. These trick instructions were clarified by the official misdirections interpreter when he stated that "I never read the directions, I just post and follow them."

The trail was a model of hash efficiency as the entire pack was hopelessly lost with two minutes-a new record for the BMH3. The hare proved much too clever for the pack of lemmings as each subsequent check followed with the similar results, causing several hashers to take the opportunity to stop for a beer, go shopping or take a short nap while the more anxious members checked all directions for any possible hint of trail.

After about 15 minutes of trail, the hare cleverly tempted the most steadfast front runners with trail that lead directly back to the beer, but since the Bug was absent, the only takers of this path of least resistence were the Bog family that undoubtedly returned to do a couple of hundred push-ups, sit-ups and jumping jacks so they could work up a good sweat on the comfortably breezy evening.
Most of the pack, however, staggered back after an hour or more of not venturing more than 2 or 3 km from the start.

Three lost souls however; Katoey Kickboxer, Sweatlicker and Sky Pilot Lurch found a way to spend two or three hours following paper, returning to the waiting circle shortly before midnight. Fortunately Bushman was not on trail or he would have surely shown these whipper snappers how to run twice as far, twice as long and spend twice as much time lost as this ill-fated trio.

Highlights of the circle included Joylide Weinends attempting to burn down the restaurant and Noriega's introduction of a beautiful virgin, who is reportedly doing her PhD research on "Deviant Behavior among Expat Cults in the Bangkok Ghetto (which explains her coming to the Hash with Frank.)

Milestones included our resident Samurai Warrrior Ishishishi Kazumoto-san getting his 100th Run mug, complete with a Noriega translation of how to use it in Japanese, and the 5000th run for Noriega's car-minus a tail light. Bets are on that between Jumpstart and Crash Daly, the infamous Black Beamer will be totally demolished well before Interhash in October.

A notorious visitor of note, Blitzkreig, is reportedly hiding out from Cambodia since the International War Crimes Commission decided to indite the Germans as the masterminds behind the exploits of the Khamer Rouge for the upcoming War Crimes Tribunals.

And, last, but possibly least, reliable Thai sources report that the next BMH3 will start at a greasy spoon fast food joint called "The Frying Flinn." See you there, don't forget to reverse your odometer. And you can bet your last baht that the BMH3's call for a new prick (or one or more prick look-a-likes) will be answered at the Monday hash.
